It is time to mow now. Parks may have left grass long at the cross streets because tulips bloomed there earlier in the spring and need their leaves to stay green for a while so they will bloom next year. It si not recommended to mow tulips soon after blooming.

where the grass is 2 feet high has nothing to do with the tulips. There are wonderful people who take care of the flowers. there are no flowers where the grass is high. I have lived here for over 30 years and it used to really look special. Whom ever mowed did a bad job.some of the lawn did not get completely mowed. I think we need to call the parks department because apparently they do not pay any attention to "see clix fix".
